Support replacing old windows and adding kitchen shelving in the dining hall, improving food storage, safety, and creating a more functional space for our children.
Over the past few years, several improvements have been made to the dining hall area, from painting the walls to installing fans and repairing the wooden tables and chairs. These changes have helped create a more pleasant and welcoming space for the children. However, one major update is still needed: replacing the old glass jalousie-style windows. Many of these are already cracked, and their design poses a safety concern for the children. In addition, the window screens meant to keep out flies and mosquitoes are damaged and no longer provide proper protection. Installing new PVC windows will make the dining area safer, brighter, and easier to maintain, while ensuring a cleaner environment for mealtimes.
At the same time, improvements are also needed in the adjoining kitchen area. As the number of enrolled children has grown, space has become increasingly limited, making organization a challenge. Installing sturdy shelving will allow better storage for food, ingredients, and cooking utensils, helping keep the kitchen tidy and functional. By supporting this project, you help create a safer, cleaner, and more efficient space where nutritious meals can be prepared and enjoyed every day.
