Our laying hen project at Brazos de Jesús is helping provide daily nutrition for 340 children while promoting self-sustainability.

At Brazos de Jesús, we are constantly seeking ways to provide for our children while teaching them the value of sustainability and responsibility. Today, we are excited to share one of our newest initiatives: a laying hen project that will contribute directly to the daily nutrition of our 340 children.

Gratitude to Our Supporters

We want to extend our heartfelt thanks to our friends and partners from Escuela El Sembrador Donald Hawk and Comboy of Hope. Their support has been instrumental in helping us establish this project, and we are deeply grateful for their generosity and dedication to our mission.

Growth of the Project

The project began with 60 hens, and thanks to the care and commitment of our team, we now have 200 hens. Our goal is to reach 300 hens, which will allow us to produce enough eggs to meet the daily needs of all the children in our dining hall.

Every step of this project brings us closer to self-sustainability, ensuring that the children at Brazos de Jesús receive nutritious food while reducing dependence on external resources.
